Taylor’s Classics in The Bailiwick, Windsor
A quintessential British Pub! The Bailiwick Free House is nestled on the gates of the Windsor Great Park and Virginia Water Lake, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the ancient deciduous woodland, a popular destination for locals and visitors in the area. It has recently re-opened (back in March 2021) under the new leadership of Steven Ellis, previously of The Oxford Blue in Old Windsor, with his wife Ami as head pastry chef. Steven’s training under the tutelage of Clare Smyth MBE at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay has enabled him to offer a sophisticated twist of familiar dishes.

To give the Bailiwick a ‘new lease of life’ and create this classic country pub feel, the Taylor’s Classics team worked closely with Steven & Ami Ellis to supply a range of their traditional furniture classics. This project included: dining tables, chairs, bench seating and bar stools. The chairs, stools and bench seating were all upholstered in Yarwood Leather’s Mustang range, in colourway Bottle and stained in Taylor’s Classics Golden Oak finish.

Traditional Restaurant Chairs, such as the popular Audley Armchair and Farmhouse Stickback Armchairs with polished seats. Bromley Dining Tables with oak friezes add to the traditional pub feel along with our bespoke deep-buttoned back Glasgow benches made to the clients own specification (including dimensions of each bench, upholstery & stain colours).
Other Taylor’s Exclusive products showcased on this project include Sheldon low bar swivel stools, outdoor furniture including Alice stacking chairs and their unique collection of decorative cast iron table bases including the popular Vintage Angel base and Globe long twin pedestal bases.
