The W Hotel – Total refit by RHA Furniture

RHA Furniture has been providing contract furniture in the leisure & hospitality sector for over 20 years. Their wide range of quality furniture has been selected for the total refit of the W Hotel’s Perception bar in central London.

The W is a world renowned luxury hotel in the heart of London’s Leicester Square. The hotel is known for its unique look and style and the bar is no different. RHA Furniture worked closely with designers Concrete, to create something visually stunning and in keeping with the hotels defined style. The W Hotel 1 webDesigners Concrete of Amsterdam and RHA Furniture worked on the development of many bespoke pieces as well as items from their standard ranges. The stand out bespoke pieces came in the form of an 18ft curved sofa and custom DJ booth. The Curved sofa helps bring together a unique looking seating area curving round a centre fire column, creating a cosy intimate seating area. The W Hotel round sofa webThe DJ booth needed to be designed with the ability to be moved yet be able to hold large amounts of equipment and still retain its luxury aesthetic. This was made possible with its leather covered cushioned sides and brushed brass upstand, creating a very unique and fitting piece of bespoke joinery.

As well as the bespoke joinery RHA also supplied a large quantity of our standard furniture found on their website. The Perceptions 360 degree bar has a funky look with neon lights and a multi-level bar enabling them to supply many different pieces. Some of our favourites were the Tonella armchair and small sofas, a lovely low chair with a brass frame and upholstered in high quality leather. The W Hotel bar chairs webAs well as the chairs RHA also supplied accompanying Cage marble side tables and luxury bar stools upholstered in high-end leather and black stained ash legs; this really helped to finish off the look of the bar.

As for the rest of Perception RHA complemented the custom DJ booth by surrounding it with 4 cast iron marble cocktail tables creating a perfect place to sit and drink while enjoying the music. Along with the cocktail tables, numerous Accuriso side tables were supplied in a range of colours including black, plum and ivory. To complete the remodel and add a bit of fun factor, the Eero Aarinen’s remarkable Bubble Chair was used – A statement piece that when you see it you just want to get into it.DSC_0702 web
