Versital, who are a BCFA member, have been busy creating great projects around the UK – in Wavendon, Crawley and Leeds!
The Wavendon Arms
Located in a picturesque town of Wavendon, the stunning newly renovated pub, bar and restaurant is perfect for both locals and tourists alike. JMDA were once again behind this striking design, known for their cutting edge style and out-of-the-box approach. The pub, bar and restaurant reflects the personality of the locality extremely well.
For the interiors of the venue the designers opted for a tropical inspired dark theme. Most of the background colours include dark greys, indigo’s and deep green. There is plenty of natural light, preventing the space from feeling dark or cluttered.
Their are two main focal points in the venue. The first is the large custom bar area completed by a Versital bar top finished in one of the brand new colours from ‘Inspired by Pantone’ collection, highlighted by LED back lights. The second is a striking open log burner. The bar top perfectly complements the exotic look of the interiors. Its caramel vein is the ideal match for the overall colour palette.
The Versital bar top is a great finishing touch to the serving area. It works perfectly with the modern exotic style of the venue. Versital surfaces are perfect for high traffic areas as they do not stain or watermark, while having the appearance of real stone.
The Dukes’ Head
Located in the beautiful town of Crawley, The Dukes’ Head premium country pub and restaurant is renowned for its atmosphere and inviting ambience. The venue is a great go to for customers all year round.
JMDA created a homely, warm feeling by using striking colours like indigo, blue and purple and contrasting them with vibrant mustard’s. They also featured a large marble bar top look from Versital in one of the newly released ‘Inspired by Pantone’ collection finishes.
The made to measure marble bar top featured in the venue is made to order by Versital to the exact specifications of the designer – right down to the drop edge detail. The designers selected a double veined brown from the new ‘Inspired by Pantone’ collection. The marble styled bar top is a perfect addition venue, giving it an interesting twist on a classic finish, and balancing the colour palette.
The washrooms at the Dukes Head have been paid particular attention, with beautiful lighting, wallpaper and gorgeous marble vanity tops again courtesy of Versital. As well as looking beautiful they are 100% waterproof and stain proof making the immensely practical long term.
The Deer Park
Versital has been chosen once again to supply bar tops for the beautiful new design created by JMDA. The designers saw an incredible success working with hospitality giants like Mitchells and Butlers or Whitbread and creating beautiful venues all across the country.
The design features a number of metal elements in brass and copper, which blend seamlessly with the classic Metallic Marble bar tops from Versital. All of the decorative elements have been carefully chosen to create a beautiful finished modern look that is in-keeping with the style and atmosphere of the building.
Versital’s made to order surfaces have been commissioned for the stunning centre piece bar top. The designers selected ‘Copper Stratos’ from the new Metallic Marble collection, to bring the design together.
The copper marble bar top from Versital beautifully complements the toned down, darker colour palette of the entire venue. The designers added many elements like chairs with metal studs, metal edging and beautifully rustic metal chandeliers that turned the interiors into a picturesque setting.
