In this series we will enjoy a glimpse of the working environments of designers, architects and directors and discover what can we learn from how they work and the objects they work alongside.

In our fifth post Newmor Wallcoverings designer Jess Evans shows us her workspace and explains why the environment she works in is so important.

‘I have present on my desk the Nomad, Agate designs with follow on development ideas for future collections, we love exploring colour combinations so tend to start ideas based on colour then we look at the pattern trends influencing the interior world and start drawing up designs from the research we’ve gathered. It’s important we create a mood around us with imagery to help inspire.’

Newmor Wallcoverings have recently launched their Nomad collection, inspired by traveling and exploring, wanting to capture aesthetics of the earth, well-being, zen and bringing the outdoors in.  View the Nomad here.
