Design Insider Heads to Paris: Building Global Expertise

At Design Insider, we believe that informed editorial comes from real-time engagement with industry leaders, and that’s exactly why we’re heading to Paris on 23 June to attend the NEWH EU/UK Leadership Conference.

This one-day international gathering brings together a diverse group of professionals from across the hospitality design world. Our presence is about more than just attendance; it’s about actively listening to conversations that are shaping the future of commercial interiors, connecting directly with disruptors and decision-makers, and feeding that insight back into the editorial we publish for our readers.

Our Editorial Director, Alys Bryan, will be on stage moderating the panel “Hospitality Disruptors: Taking Hotels to the Next Level”. With panellists William Dowling (Virgin Group), Sylvain Morgaine (Accor), and Nicolas Stachowiak (Ennismore), the session promises to offer valuable insight into how bold ideas are reshaping the guest experience, from creative development strategies to the evolving role of design in brand storytelling. As always, Alys will guide this discussion with a focus on clarity, candour, and relevance, hallmarks of the content we deliver at Design Insider.

But our work in Paris won’t end there. Throughout the day, we’ll be immersing ourselves in panel discussions, one-to-one conversations, and informal networking moments with designers, developers, strategists, and brand leaders. These exchanges provide vital context to the challenges and opportunities shaping our sector right now, from shifting guest expectations to the increasing importance of cultural intelligence and sustainable thinking in project delivery.

Every relationship we build and every insight we gather feeds directly into our editorial direction. It ensures that Design Insider remains current and connected, reporting with authority and relevance on the issues that matter to commercial interiors professionals.

Whether we’re moderating conversations on stage or sharing quiet moments of exchange with new global contacts, our time in Paris is a commitment to you, our readers. We’re here to deepen our understanding, challenge our perspectives, and return with articles that reflect the cutting-edge of international hospitality design.
