Dallington Street, Clerkenwell, London

EGGER is a global manufacturer of a wide portfolio of materials for the interior design, furniture and construction industries, including decorative faced panels, lacquered panels, laminates, edging, worktops, decorative flooring and structural flooring. A family business founded in 1961 under the ethos of wood being too valuable to throw away, EGGER began producing chipboard from sawmill by-products, creating a market for this waste product and diverting it from landfill or biomass.

EGGER prides itself on its carbon retaining and recyclable materials and continues to hold environmentalism at the heart of its operations today.

EGGER is renowned industry wide for its high quality products, exceptional service and market expertise. Within the international architecture and design sector, EGGER’s identity is that of a leading supplier of environmentally sustainable, budget conscious and lasting materials, manufactured using state of the art technology in texture and print, meaning there is no compromise on design.

Now operating from 22 plants internationally, EGGER materials are specified, fabricated and installed worldwide in multiple sectors, including residential, hospitality, student accommodation, retail, education, healthcare, cruise ship and more.

CLEAF is an Italian company producing innovative surfaces for furniture and interiors, founded in 1975 by the Caspani family. CLEAF is synonymous with high-end products renowned for their exceptional texture design and tactile innovation. CLEAF’s faced panels, laminates and edging, exclusively manufactured at production sites in Brianza, are installed worldwide by architects and companies building inspirational spaces for living and working.

Building on a decades long relationship between the owning families, Egger and Caspani, the two companies commenced joint projects in 2019. The Egger family now owns 27.5% of CLEAF.

Blum, also a family owned company, is a global manufacturer of innovate fittings and technical solutions for furniture and interiors, and is market leading in the manufacture of products including hinge systems, runners, lift systems and motion technologies. Blum specialises in technical solutions for furniture and innovative ways to make the most out space. The company was founded in 1952 in Austria, and now manufactures in six countries internationally.

The showroom space is set to combine the materials of the three brands in an immersive display and working space.

Autumn may seem a long way off, but the showroom will open its doors temporarily at Clerkenwell Design Week.  Join the brands from Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd May for a sneak peek of what is to come, with new product display, a series of talks and workshops, and networking events across the three day festival.
