Milliken Invites Designers to Come & Play!

Pattern Play is a carpet tile collection designed by Milliken’s in-house design team from the company’s UK HQ in Wigan. It takes as its starting point the New London Fabulous Movement, celebrating joy, diversity and creativity. Pattern Play is a bold and playful collection combining pattern, colour and texture showcasing what Milliken does best: creating a design statement and  blending artistry with technology.

Pattern Play, All Shapes – Multi Colours

Play to create: one of the aims for the collection is to give designers creative license to transform a space with their own distinctive touch. Packed full of striking motifs and an inspired colour range that offers endless possibilities and design freedom. There is even the option to customise colours, and create custom shapes. 

Pattern Play, Scallops – All Colours

The Pattern Play collection features three designs: First “Pattern Play”: a cleverly crafted overall pattern that creates texture and subtle movement across the floor. The second design “Transitions” allows for effortless customisation as the gradient effects softly transition from colour to colour and spaces can be transformed and enhanced. And thirdly “Shapes” which enable creative expression with the dynamic power of shapes and patterns in the carpet tiles. With endless customisation options, floors can be tailored to reflect brand identity and inspire teams. There are over 70 colours to choose from to elevate the floor plane to express unique style and creativity.

Pattern Play, Cigar + Spark + Smile – Transition

As with all Milliken flooring collections, sustainability and wellbeing form the starting point when it comes to choice of materials and the manufacturing process. Milliken supports the advancement of a circular economy, using less new raw materials, creating less waste, and focusing on increasing recycled materials in flooring products. Pattern Play is manufactured in an ISO 14001 / ISO 50001 certified location, in Wigan, using renewable energy. Pattern Play is made of 61% Recycled Content by total weight. The carpet tile backing is made from 90% recycled content. It is certified: Cradle to cradle Silver, Declare Red List free. Furthermore, it is certified for IAQ CRI Green Label Plus / TUV Proficert Premium / GUT.

Pattern Play is available on request with Milliken’s patented Tractionback™ 2.0 to provide glue-free installation and ease of re-use. Milliken Flooring works with WELL™ – by aligning with up to 14 WELL feature specifications, Milliken’s products can contribute to the achievement of 14 points and help to meet two preconditions.
