Ocee Design celebrates 25 years with the best of British in its New London Showroom

It is 25 years since Ocee Design was formed and what better way to celebrate than by opening a brand new showroom at 20 Old Street Clerkenwell, London.

Opened on 19th May to coincide with this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week, the showroom premieres with four significant new ranges by British designers.  Noah, a new beautifully crafted wooden range by Samuel Wright, takes centre stage.  Noah celebrates the craft of British manufacturing by using traditional techniques to produce contemporary timeless pieces.  The solid wooden framed chair, sofa and table are joined by an elegant rocking chair.

Ocee has built its success on combining quality British craftsmanship with British design and a passion for service. The showroom reflects the company’s belief in British designers and features Henry Gurney’s Skyline modular seating system, Roger Webb Associates’ extensive Harc furniture range and David Fox’s new wooden twist to Ocee’s classic Dishy chair.

The two floors of 20 Old Street showcase Ocee’s extensive portfolio from soft seating and meeting and conference chairs, to tables and personal storage.  The full range of the company’s acclaimed Four collection of chairs and tables is also accommodated.

The new showroom is a feature of the company’s continuing development and success in the marketplace and follows significant expansion of its manufacturing facilities in the Midlands. Managing Director Alistair Gough explains “In 2010 we decided to completely transform the company with the aim of doubling turnover in four years by changing the product range and the brand. We have achieved this and more and the new showroom is a result of our success and a statement of our intention to continue to grow.”
