UKTI and the BCFA have been working together for quite a while, and the relationship has brought some exciting opportunities to BCFA members. The UKTI have now embarked on a brilliant mission well a GREAT mission to get British manufacturers and designers exporting, to grow businesses. You may have seen in the Directors Cut that this mission reaches far and wide with adverts even being on the back on tuk tuk in Cambodia.

Ministerial-led Trade Missions to UAE, South Korea, Russia

GREAT Weeks are ministerial-led trade missions which deliver a concentrated burst of activity to showcase the very best of what the UK has to offer. Through a bespoke programme of face-to-face meetings, briefings with local experts, networking events and seminars, they can help your business to seize the opportunity for expansion in some of the most exciting markets around the world.

Highlight: Meet ALDAR and the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), who oversee mega mixed use development projects such as Saadiyat Island, Yas Island and Al Maryah Island.

GREAT Week South Korea

31 March – 4 April 2014

Opportunities within: Branding Services, Product & Industrial Design, Interior Design Services (Sports Facilities and Commercial Buildings)

Highlight: Deliver a presentation at the UK Design Seminar with 120 invited guests available for one-to-one speed networking.
