Camira’s Trend Report 2019/2020

Textile designer, manufacturer and BCFA member Camira has launched its fourth 2019/20 trend report, providing insight into the colours, textures and aesthetics which will be influential in the coming year.

Design Insider Camira Trends Why Not

Following on from the disruptive ethos of Revolution from last year, Camira’s new edition titled Why not… continues to question, stimulate and inspire architects and designers of commercial interiors.

Building on the success established from Camira’s previous three reports, Why not… encourages its readers to question everything – find courage to explore new ideas, act on instinct, and push through any creative barriers that previously existed.

Design Insider Camira Trends Be Brave

Exploring four key themes – each prefixed by the report’s title – readers are invited to Challenge, Be Brave, Have Fun, and Be One. Illustrated by exquisite photography commissioned by Camira and realised by Parabella Studios, each trend is captured through a sequence of stories reflecting the colours, textures, and refined combination palettes which can be used to create striking interiors perfectly in sync with the mood of the moment.

With all fabrics designed and manufactured by Camira, the report showcases a range of polyester, wool and bast fibre fabrics.

Design Insider Camira Trends Notebook

A culmination of trend research by Camira’s Product Development team throughout the year, alongside external trend consultants, the report has established a reputation as being a source of knowledge, insight and expertise for architects, designers and specifiers across the contract sector.

Providing inspiring fabric combinations, palettes and tonal harmonies, Why not… seeks to stimulate rather than dictate, giving its readers the tools to create their own approaches and concepts.
