Lunar is one of the signature ranges from Chelsom’s latest collection, Edition 26. Inspired by Art Deco designs, the elegant table lamp exudes timeless elegance that would look at home in any interior.

The stone heavy base sits within curved metal surround and glass globes are secured with threaded metal rings to ensure safety and durability.

“I had actually seen a backgammon board piece that was a piece of marble wrapped in brass metalwork and I thought that would be very nice for a table lamp base. The range evolved from there!” – Lucy White, Head of Marketing, PR and Communications.

Chelsom wanted to embrace a common trend in the glass globes and simple brass metalwork but also wanted to do something very different with the table and floor lamp bases and wall light backplates.

Available as part of a wider collection of coordinated wall and floor lighting, Lunar features heavy stone bases and backplates sit within curved metal surrounds finished with glass globes secured with threaded metal rings to ensure safety and durability.

Finish options include Brushed Brass with Natural stone and Opal glass as pictured in addition to Satin Black with Grey stone and Smoke glass.

There are very clear trends using floating opal globes with subtle brass metal work at the moment. Chelsom’s aim was to react to that by doing something simple and not too complicated. A single straight line body with spherical shade uses simple geometry whilst embracing popular tones, finishes and textures.

This range embodies the coming together of many different materials. Brass plated metal work, opal glass shades and stone bases and backplates collide so that all of these different textures and finishes are juxtaposed in one structure.
