Inside Out – WMS Food Hall, Birmingham

Inside Out was appointed by the projects furniture consultant WeSpace to supply furniture for the refurbishment of the WMS Food Hall at the University of Birmingham. Creating a modern and youthful environment Inside Out supplied chairs in an array of bright colours with complementing laminate and wood tables.

“Following extensive flood damage from a burst water main to the University of Birmingham College of Medical and Dental Sciences’ catering facilities, design specialists, SoVibrant was commissioned to redesign the basement food court, which covers an area of 9,500 sq ft and seats approximately 360 people at any one time.

The University accelerated and up-scaled refurbishment proposals, viewing it as an opportunity to deliver a new and exciting facility for students, staff and visitors. During a typical day, there are around 1,400 to 1,500 students, staff and visitors on campus passing through the facility.
