Morgan at Sleep

In their customary location of M23C at the Business Design Centre, Islington, the Morgan stand has a vintage inspired feel this year with geometric wallpaper, pastel colours and some stunning bronze metallic feature lighting. Latest furniture launches will include the ground-breaking 3d printed RIO chairs plus additions to the popular Brompton, Seville, Chevy and Metro collections.

Created in partnership with Mehran Gharleghi from Studio INTEGRATE, RIO explores the relationship between the craft of yesterday with the craft of tomorrow, by combining traditional, finely crafted timber with the latest 3d printing technology. The result is a beautiful and comfortable chair that is ground-breaking within the commercial furniture market. All three versions will be on show at Sleep: with upholstered back, timber back and 3d printed back.

The new Brompton products are the luxurious and more sumptuous cousin to the original Brompton collection. With a deeper and softer sit, wider arm and deep loose back cushions, these new modular additions to Brompton feature a variety of two seat and three seat sofas, two and three seat daybeds and a corner modular sofa.

The new Seville 756/2 two seat sofa and 756 armchair were inspired by the Seville 753ASQ dining chair with its clean square arm detail. Removing the wing, these new Seville products offer vintage simplicity and style.

The Chevy 713 is a new armchair to be launched in to the Chevy collection. Taking its influence from the styling and elegance of the 1950s, the Chevy collection offers
chairs and sofas with either timber legs or metal bases and with either loose cushion or fully wrapped seat detail. The Chevy 713 is a small armchair with a neat footprint perfect for any hotel bedroom or lounge environment.

Tables will also be represented at Sleep and in response to the increasing popularity of laptop tables there is a new addition to the Metro collection. Inspired by the form of a boomerang the foot of the base is shaped and scaled for ease of use. The table top is a geometric form, taking its inspiration from the Metro collection. Offered with a solid wood lipped detail and a variety of laminates, this laptop table is a lightweight and versatile solution.
