Strada, Designed by Paola Navone, Debuts Exclusively at JANUS et Cie
Strada, the new collection from world-renowned Italian architect and designer Paola Navone exclusive to JANUS et Cie, delivers a stunning set of woven furniture that is both inspiring and impressive. With its emphasis on rounded forms, soft hues and Art Deco details, Strada emerges as a eclectically complementary collection – one that feels like a sanctuary with seating of different shapes and sizes – engaging residential, hospitality and contract designers alike.
The Strada Collection is comprised of nearly a dozen pieces with the emphasis on European inspired low, relaxed seating: Lounge Chair, Ottoman, 2-Seat Sofa, High Back 2-Seat Settee, 3-Seat Sofa and Chaise Lounge. A Pouf Side Table, Cocktail Table and Grande Cocktail Table can be transformed into an ottoman to outfit the lounge series. The hand woven seats and backs, made from JANUS et Cie’s acclaimed JANUSfiber, come in Willow, Sage, Dapple and Taupe. Notably, the high-back 2-seat settee is wonderful for hospitality environments such as a hotel lobby or bistro dining. The durability of the collection is superb for high-traffic and communal corporate spaces indoors or out.
Strada’s playful dining tables coordinate effortlessly with the bucket seat Armchair and curved-back Side chair. Pair the chairs with the Round Dining Table or Oval Dining Table for unique arrangements. Both dining tables feature JANUSfiber pedestals and three top styles: fully woven, inset glass, or stone.
