Transformed by a multi-million pound renovation, Dormy House is a supremely relaxing boutique retreat on a private estate in the northern Cotswolds, near the picturesque village of Broadway. A 17th-century farmhouse hotel complete with big stone fireplaces and flagstone floors, it exudes a tremendous sense of comfort. Extensions and the incorporation of adjacent buildings have created a pleasingly rambling complex with cosy nooks and unexpected features. In one wing, a chic and extensive spa has won armloads of awards since it opened in February 2014.
Designed by Beverly Bayes, creating an informal and welcoming atmosphere within the Spa was Sparcstudio’s main principle, so that guests would feel at ease and relaxed, an integral part of the Dormy House Hotel experience. With a light, airy and contemporary interior, The Modern Garden Company specified the elegant white Swing chairs and foot rests from Manutti, found around the spectacular heated indoor pool. Beautifully designed, with mood lighting, this is a place to chill out while overlooking the spa terrace.
The renovation has turned the lovely Dormy House Hotel into an international 5-star spa destination.
