Whistler Leather’s Verbier is a semi-analine leather with a waxy high-gloss finish, gently ‘crackled’ to allow the underlying colour to show. It’s always been a bestseller – and now the collection of 18 colours has been joined by five new shades, including Abricot, Farinet, Bombay Sapphire, Alpine Blush & Marmot.Recently completed projects showcase Verbier’s vibrancy and versatility:
The award winning, hip and hugely popular Dandelyan bar at London’s Mondrian hotel, designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio, features Verbier in a specially commissioned Lilac. Verbier leather was also used in Concord Harvest upholsters the extra-large curving banquettes at The Rumpus Room, Mondrian’s glamorous top-floor bar.
Designers Macaulay Sinclair used Verbier in a custom shade of Ocean Blue for restaurant chain Hawksmoor’s Manchester outpost, set in the former High Court Registry Office. Verbier has also been specified across Hawksmoor’s other branches.
