Amtico Décor x National Trust’ is inspired by historic designs and patterns found at the charity’s properties. The three decorative designs are brought to life in ten colourways, all selected from the premium Signature collection with a 1mm wear layer.

Unequivocally British, Victorian Star Small is reminiscent of highly pigmented Victorian floor tiles, it utilises Amtico’s precision cutting techniques to create an intricate star pattern. The small 9 x 9” design comes in a choice of four ceramic-inspired contemporary hues from Signature’s Colour Edit palettes.

Victorian Star Large is a large-scale, elegant timber design that emphasises the natural beauty of wood grains. Reflecting historic marquetry techniques, the 12 x 12” laying pattern has a textured appearance that adds depth and dimension to the floor. It is available in the rich and rustic Canterbury or the classic mid oak tones of York.

Both Victorian Star Small and Large can be paired with a complementary tile or plank perimeter to outline the edge of a room. For a more decorative effect, the laying patterns also work well with Amtico’s new Pinstripe borders.

Available in four Stone colourways, Octagon Key is inspired by Georgian architectural details. The small-scale pattern is created using octagon tiles paired with a motif, the extra embellishment puts a decorative twist on traditional key stone designs.

Commenting on the collection, Lorna Williams, Head of Product Design and Visual Creation at Amtico, said: “When the opportunity arose for Amtico to work with the National Trust, we jumped at the chance. Our values are true to each other; we care about inspiring people as well as celebrating and protecting our heritage, which makes for a perfect pairing. We are very proud to be collaborating with one of the nation’s most loved conservation charities.”

Amtico will be supporting the charity’s vital work by donating back a proportion of Amtico Décor x National Trust UK sales over the next three years. It will help the charity to look after the 500 places, 780 miles of coastline and 250,000 hectares of land in its care, along with the establishment and conservation of woodlands, helping to create new habitats for wildlife and protecting biodiversity.

Michaela Davies, National Trust Brand Licensing Manager, said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Amtico on this collection. The way they have interpreted the Trust’s wealth of history and heritage has been incredibly considerate and creative. It also brings to life the scale of responsibility we have at the National Trust, to care for these places and ensure their long-term survival. We hope people will relish the chance to help support our work.

Made to order, each Décor tile is individually cut and bevelled, then packaged for quick and easy installation. This allows architects and designers to specify classic, period-style floors that comfortably meet the demands of today’s commercial spaces. Décor is manufactured at Amtico’s factory in Coventry to the same specification as the premium Signature collection of high-performance floors, including the superior 1mm wear layer and Quantum Guard Elite urethane coating, ensuring exceptional durability without losing design impact.
