BCFA MEMBERS BUSINESS FORUM

Last month the BCFA put together a members business forum which explored some of the industries misconceived mysterious areas including copyright and social media, with the speakers enlightening the crowd. The event also gave some insight into a successful turn around of Ocee Design and the the success that came of bringing a team together.

Dids Macdonal from ACID Dispelled some myths when it come down to copying in the industry, and lets us know what we can do it about it.

 

Paul Tansey from Intergage gives us an insight into the world of social media and how this can help your business, how you can make customers come to you by interacting online. you will also hear the importance of Google and especially Google + so following Paul’s advice here is a link to the Design Insider Google + page.

 

Alistair Gough from Ocee Design talks through the success of Ocee Design and its image turn around going from a very ordinary office furniture supplier to becoming one of the most innovative, there is a great heart warming story as well about Henery Gurney who joined the company as an admin assistant and is now one of there lead designers with his creation HenRay.

BCFA MD, Colin Watson gives a short summary of the BCFA and the what they do.
