As the year comes to an end we take a look at the top post of December .

This month we launched our first video on DESIGN INSIDER as part of the Designer’s Muse series, in this video we focused on the inspiration behind the recent award winning Waldorf Astoria, Amsterdam, interviewing interior designer Steffi Backhouse of GA Design.

There were some great projects showcased this month too, one to mention was Craft, London. Located on the Greenwich Peninsula designed by Tom Dixon and featuring ege carpets on the roof of this top floor cocktail bar.

Andrew Linwood of Areen Design came into chat about Hotel Design and how he sees the industry developing, speaking heavily about the input that AirBnb is having, and what hotel designers have to do to compete.
