Celebrating UK’s Top Designers with NEWH

Each year the NEWH UK chapter honours the creative talents of chapter members who are aligned with their mission of supporting scholarship and education with the much-coveted Top ID award.

This year’s Top ID awards are sponsored by Ulster Carpets and will be held in their Clerkenwell showroom on Tuesday 28th February at 6.30pm. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards scholarship awards for interior design students.

“In celebrating the success of our chapter members, NEWH UK are supporting the next generation of designers”, said Kathryn Quinn, President of the NEWH UK Chapter.

This year’s winners are Design Command, and THDP Ltd who have won for the second year running. Each winner will present the inspiration and design execution of their winning projects. All projects submitted to NEWH UK had to completed in the past 12 months.

Design Command, Mickeys Beach bar – Michael Caines Collection

Design Command highlighted projects designed to relax and unwind, evoking an overall sense of escapism for guests. These included Mickeys Beach Bar & Restaurant (pictured), and Café Patisserie Glacerie.

THDP Ltd, RG Naxos Hotel – Sicily

THDP also completed several beautiful projects across Europe, all perfectly attuned to their location, which included: Voco® Venice Mestre – The Quid, RG Naxos Hotel – Sicily (pictured), and Mediterraneo Sorrento.

The team at Ulster Carpets’ London Design Studio are looking forward to hosting the NEWH UK’s Top ID event on February 28.
