Exhibitor Q&A: Bisley – Ralph Hearnshaw, Commercial Director

Bisley are the British success story of workplace solutions. With a factory producing over 15,000 items a week they are one of the leading suppliers of office storage and furniture products.

What are you most looking forward to showcasing at the Manchester Open? 

Our latest products, designs and capabilities for bespoke solutions.

What are your predictions for the future of design within workplace environments?

Less formality and more organic, natural and adaptive spaces. Technology will become ever more important, but to support and enhance human activity and endeavour. The importance of well-being will grow, and people will eventually understand that we should not be slaves to our tablets and pcs. 2766 Bisley (Multi-draw 02) V02 web

What is exciting you about design in the north at the moment?

The fact that people have become aware that London and the South-East don’t have a monopoly on smart, relevant and compelling design.

What do you love most about your industry?

The people – and the fact that the industry is still very diverse and dynamic.
