Furniture Fusion on Milan
Furniture Fusion share their experience of Milan Furniture Fair and give a run down of the products they saw.
A little while ago back in mid-April we are all very excited here at Furniture Fusion Towers, as our intrepid Project Sales Team set off for the Salone del Mobile. Milano (Milan Furniture Fair). I was a busy week for all concerned as the guys were sending over a fantastic barrage of live updates and photos, which our marketing team the fired back our across our various social media channels to keep everyone up to date. Once the guys were back and the dust had settled a bit we wasted no time in going through all of the information and photos we have, distilling this and bringing you the highlights from the fair.
MIDJ
The first in our reviews is from our partners Midj introducing new models and new additions to existing ranges.
We have been partners with Midj for over 20 years now and are the exclusive supplier of Midj furniture to the UK. Sam and Peter spent a morning with the guys from Midj to see the fabulous new pieces in the flesh as well as the lovely additions to favourite collections as well.

Wrap Chair Range
The Wrap collection as the name suggests has an innovative shell design style which literally wraps it’s self around you giving nice support to your back, as well as looking great. The collection consists of a side chair, armchair and still versions, all of which stand on stylish metal frame. Shells upholstered in leather, faux leather, fabric or custom’s fabric.
Olah Chair Range
The Olah range is new for 2016 and has a style all of its own. Based on a sturdy tubular steel frame the seat and back rest is formed from a single piece of plywood that has been beautifully curved to match the tubular frame perfectly. There is a side chair, arm chair and bar stool available, and what’s more these can all be upholstered in leather, faux leather and fabric.
Danni Chair Range
Related to the Sonny collection, Danni shares the same rounded shapes, comfort and soft design. Danni however has an added detail by having flamed walnut veneered plywood beautifully curved around the back of the shell. The new Danni chair is available in standard, armchair and low-armrest versions.
Nene Arm Chair
The Nene chair has proved to be a fantastic stalwart to our range. Now for 2016 we have a new armchair version, sharing the same simple yet elegant style. This version is still stackable as with the other pieces in the Nene family.
New Joe Range
For 2016 there is a new armchair version of the Joe chair to complement the favourable Joe range. Available in a wonderful veneer faced plywood laminate for the back rest and seat, these new Joe chairs also boast a stylish metal frame.
Guapa Chair Range
There is some new additions to the Guapa family for 2016, with the introduction of two high backed pieces, not to mention combining the Guapa armchair with a swivel base. These three new models fit well within the rest of the range but prove a great design can be re-invented.
The Innov8 range from Furniture Fusion
Here we have another range of lovely furniture from the Salone del Mobile Milano 2016 which is now available from us. In this section we will be looking at three very stylish, elegant and sumptuous lounge armchairs. All of these chairs feature high backs giving not only fabulous looks but unrivalled comfort. The designs also feature a host of base styles so there will always be one for all settings and décor

Unique Construction
The entire range benefit from a unique moulding process, the steel frame, seat webbing and other internal components are suspended within the mould, the cold-cure polyurethane foam is then injected and envelopes all the components. This leads to a seamless sculptured form to create to most exquisite upholstered shape.
Sky
The Sky Armchair features a tall back, giving the chair range a stylish and elegant form. A choice of different bases creates multiple styles to compliment most interior design concepts. The shell is constructed using a steel framework, entirely moulded with cold-cure polyurethane padding on to which a variety of coverings can be applied.
Curvy
Curvy is inspired by the soft and rounded forms of the 1960s, including the elegant stitching on the back. Curvy can be personalized by playing with the raised stitching, upon request, a range of coverings, wood legs or steel bases in a variety of different forms are available making the style of this armchair even more versatile. The shell is constructed using a steel framework, entirely moulded with cold-cure polyurethane padding.
Loft
The Sky Armchair features a tall back, giving the chair range a stylish and elegant form. A choice of different bases creates multiple styles to compliment most interior design concepts. The shell is constructed using a steel framework, entirely moulded with cold-cure polyurethane padding on to which a variety of coverings can be applied.
Last but by no means least we have a luxurious treat for you. All of our furniture picks in this section have sumptuous lines with not only enveloping comfort but available with soft and tactile upholstery. The pieces boast solid hardwood frames which can be stained or lacquered in a variety of finishes making this collection fit to grace the most lavish of settings.
Fleming
Comfortable and stylish with a great modern retro feel, made from a solid beech frame featuring stunning curved lines, the Fleming is available as an armchair and matching sofa. The pieces are available in a choice of fabrics/leather. The wooden frame can be stained in a variety of wood shades if desired. The Fleming range is perfectly suitable for hotels, bars, restaurants and lounge areas.
Silver
The Silver collection is made from solid wood with luxurious padding and upholstery. A touch of sumptuous class with extra traditional detailing such as the polished upholstery studs along the sides. The fabrics and colours can be customised according to the customer’s taste.
Paris
A collection that is suitable for many environments, with its pleasant lines and great comfort. A touch of sumptuous class with extra traditional detailing such as the polished upholstery studs along the sides. The shell is constructed from plywood and solid beech legs. Customers can also add their own twist on style with upholstery with fabric or leather choices and legs in different colours.
