FX Award shortlist for Ocee’s Patternistas Fabric

The Patternistas have created a new exciting range of patterned contract upholstery fabrics exclusively for Ocee Design furniture…and it’s up for an AWARD!

Ocee guarantee that a splash of our colourful patterned design will add interest to interiors and bring a smile to your face. The Patternistas, Chris and Suzanne Carpenter, have pledged to bring pattern into our lives. Working with Ocee Design and fabric manufacturer Panaz, Chris and Suzanne have created four new fabrics in 16 colourways.

The inspiration comes from nature with stylized illustrations of moths, beetles, trees and flowers. The designs are then orientated and repeated in different ways to create unique patterns for individual interiors.

Pattern zoning

As well as generally making our lives more fun, pattern is the perfect tool to visually define zones in interiors. The new fabrics look amazing on FourCast & FourSure chairs and our Harc and Noah soft seating. You can go for the all over look, or combine pattern and plain to really highlight the features of the furniture. It is up to you!

The fabric is waterproof, anti-microbial, stain resistant, and breathable and has been contract-wear tested to 40.000 Martindale & Wyzenbeek standards. The digital process is specifically set up for small runs enabling us to offer these exclusive fabrics in our group 5 banding with a minimum order of just 10 metres.

Dressing for the occasion

So, on 30th November the Patternistas will be dressed and ready for the FX Award Ceremony.

Everyone here is keeping their fingers crossed and wishing Chris and Suzanne the best of luck!
