Newmor Launch Three Naturally Alluring Design Collections
Newmor is launching no less than three new collections this autumn. Designed by their in-house team and manufactured in their own facility in mid-Wales, each collection honours craftsmanship and British style.

We caught up with Rose Campbell, Head of Product and Creative Development at Newmor Wallcoverings, who shared the inspiration behind their latest designs, “Our new Quadra, Tussah and Tanner collections are all inspired by skilled craftspeople. The palette has been influenced by the trends forecast I’m currently working on and will share with you in the new year. There are lots of earthy neutral tones, punctuated with blue, emerald, sage, and red hues.”
The three new design collections include:
Tanner which you could easily mistake for real leather. This vegan alternative not only has a hyper-realistic matte leather effect but is a durable substitute that delivers a cost effective solution for commercial interiors. The colour palette is inspired by the neutral tones of vegetable-tanned leather, with a wide selection of neutrals and highlights of denim, sage, and oxblood.
Tussah is named after a wild silk collected in the forests of India and South Asia, from the cocoons of wild silk moths. Newmor have captured the essence of this raw organic silk, with their understated and elegant horizontal emboss. The subtle shimmer of metallic thread is simply beautiful. The natural colour palette is punctuated with pops of garnet, denim and emerald.
Quadra, meaning ‘blocks’ in Portuguese, is a clean modern design enhanced by a tactile multidirectional emboss. The translucent layering of muted geometric shapes adds depth and interest to this architectural inspired design. The colour palette is clean, warm, and simple, making this a versatile collection for commercial interiors.
Summing up the collection, Rose Campbell said, “Each new design collection is a tribute to a specialist craft. From tanners making leather, and silk farmers cultivating yarns, to the architects and designers working in our industry. We’ve taken inspiration to create three captivating fabric backed vinyl collections which are designed to the high commercial specification our customers expect.”
