The brief was to design an environment which is bright, fresh, airy and coastal with an added touch of luxury. Jonathan Stewart Design selected Shackletons furniture to fulfil the brief with careful consideration given to colour, pattern and texture which is reflected throughout the interior.

For the dining area, the elegant Woodbury dining table with a traditional turned wood leg was selected with the Assisi Dining Chair with a wooden arm to assist residents when standing.

In the lounge, the Orto Luxe Low Back Chair has been positioned next to the window for residents to enjoy the coastal sea views, alongside the Aberford Table with a single pedestal base in dark sorano.

The Chatham Side Chair works well when paired with stylish writing desk creating a quiet and calming space for residents.

Jonathan Stewart, Interior Designer at Jonathan Stewart Designs comments;

“It was an ease to work with Shackletons from start to finish. We selected Shackletons for their quality, style and versatility of products. Knowing all furniture is ergonomically designed to meet the demanding needs of the care environment enabled us to give the residents more independence and freedom.”
