Taylor Classic’s Launch High Pendle Stool

Taylor’s Classics have been successfully designing and manufacturing traditional and modern furniture since 1978. The customary furniture has been featured in various bars, restaurants, hotels, cafes and pubs all over the world.

Design Insider is delighted to share with you a new product by Taylor’s Classics; introducing their new Pendle high bar stool.

This high bar stool has been locally made with steel, ensuring the product has a small footprint. The exceptional quality of the Pendle high bar stool will ensure customers not only reap comfort benefits, but will also warrant that it’s durable for customers to use repeatedly. Perfect for hospitality settings!

Whilst the practicality is significant, Taylor’s Classics have also confirmed that clients can select different colour options for the stool. The base can be powder-coated in any RAL colour(s), helping clients match their interior colour scheme. In addition to this, the upholstered seat can be piped or cricket stitched (as shown in the photographs).

Design Insider sits down with Martin Taylor at Taylor’s Classics to find out more about these new, fabulous high Pendle bar stool…

What inspired you to design the bar stools?

I was out with a fellow antique dealer friend of mine and we were looking around some warehouses in the North of England, when I stumbled across a similar design of stool which was looking very sorry for itself and had obviously been discarded! Seeing the potential for this stool I purchased it and made design alterations… This is how the idea for the Pendle stool was created!

Do you envision any projects in particular for designers to feature these stools in (for example, restaurant bar)?

The Pendle stool would be great for any hospitality venue including pubs, bar, hotels and restaurants as it can be finished and upholstered in any colour, fabric or leather to the clients specification.

How do these stools differ from your others?”

These are our first exclusive Taylor’s Classics design of metal stools, the frames can also be made suitable for external use as well as interior use, and they are the first stools that are available in a large range of different coloured bases.
