Tektura’s custom-built website sets out to reflect its product excellence and present its outstanding products and service in a focused, modern web experience.

It was built by Carswell Gould using Backbone.js, Symfony 2 and Apache Solr, complete with functionality for users to create moodboards, upload their own images for inspiration and arrange virtual wallpaper swatches.

Angela Paterson, Tektura marketing director, said: “We needed a website that not only looked good, but one that supported our sales function and improved our visibility. Carswell Gould worked closely with us to develop a bespoke solution that works hard for our own team and our customers. They now find it easier to explore our extensive ever-growing range, order samples and place orders online. The proof’s in the pudding; a 17-fold increase in sample orders as well as a reduced bounce rate and increased dwell rates.”

Phil Bennett, web team lead at Carswell Gould, said: “We are immensely proud that the site has been so well received not just by our client and its customers, but our peers.”
