Education was a big focus this week, with some great projects which show just how much great design can make a great learning environment.

Lyndon Design were selected to help transform Reading university library into a modern learning environment. With the use of High backed Arthur booths they helped provide much needed informal group meeting areas and break out spaces within the library as well as delivering design expertise and comfortable ergonomics.

KI have supplied Preston’s College with 265 Maestro chairs in 6 colours, along with 84 removable tablet arms for their brand new iSTEM Centre (innovation & science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

DESIGN INSIDER also had its first event awards this week at Independent Hotel Show with BCFA member Kobe walking away with the top prize.
