WORKSPACE 2018: Office, learning and healthcare space design

As the boundaries of furniture design continue to blur, WORKSPACE 2018 is aiming to showcase its biggest showcase of adaptable interior products to date.

Traditionally catering to office furniture and design, WORKSPACE – taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center, March 26-29 – is moving with the industry as it seeks to offer more and more décor and working solutions for all possible commercial, educational and healthcare environments.

The best in modern design for schools, colleges and universities, hospitals and shops will all be on display courtesy of some of the world’s most influential commercial interior brands, including H2O Concepts/Herman Miller, Guialmi, Boss Design and Codutti.Boss Design - Trinetic Trio webHaving generated an estimated $1billion in legacy business from the 2017 show alone, WORKSPACE is aiming to engage with visitors in new ways this time around, with the Work Design Studio and Premium Design Experience allowing potential buyers the chance to learn and get hands-on with the latest in trend-leading design.

Show manager Esha Elawadhi said:

“Office furniture is now so dynamic and adaptable in its design that it becomes transferable and accessible to the likes of schools and hospitals, where it is just as at home both aesthetically and in terms of functionality. That’s a big change that opens up huge design opportunities – and that’s what we’re most excited about showcasing.

“Our H2O Concepts/Herman Miller-sponsored Work Design Studio returns, and will offer a series of discussion seminars shining the spotlight on a wide range of industry topics, from biophilic design to smarter ways of manipulating space. Our trend-led Premium Design Experience cherry-picks the most original and best new commercial furniture products, while we are delighted that leading firms such as Boss Design will use the workspace platform to launch their latest lines.”

As always, the show will run in tandem with INDEX, the region’s biggest interior design event, and SURFACE Design Middle East – dedicated to covering solutions for flooring and walls.
