BCFA at Index Dubai

With the backdrop of a rapidly increasing marketplace with major projects and developments for Expo 2020 in Dubai, The World Cup in 2022 in Qatar and the massive hotel room expansion in Saudi Arabia and Africa, it was hardly surprising that the sellout Index International Design Exhibition in Dubai which closed its doors last week, occupied 15 per cent more floorspace than the previous edition.

The UK GREAT Pavilion of 24 British companies, organised by BCFA and supported by UKTI were part of a total number of 700 exhibitors from 44 different countries.

Companies reported an amazing number of high quality leads and orders from visiting architects, designers, product specifiers, retailers and a design innovation hungry public not only from the Middle East and Africa but also from India, Pakistan, Europe Asia and the United States.

Next year’s edition from 18-21 May 2015 will be the 25^th Anniversary of INDEX and also the 25^th Anniversary of BCFA organising a UK group to attend. Watch this space for special celebrations!
