The White Horse, Beaconsfield

Since 1978, Taylor’s Classics has been supplying traditional and modern furniture to bars, restaurants, hotels, cafes, cafés and pubs all over the world.  The company designs, manufacturers and stocks its own collections of chairs, tables and stools, as well as many other eclectic pieces of furniture. They also restore reclaimed furniture and supply antiques to be used in a variety of settings within the hospitality market. A 45,000 square foot factory and warehouse in Stafford helps Taylor’s Classics to be a flexible manufacturer that can supply projects with a combination of standard and bespoke furniture.

Taylor’s Classics has supplied furniture to the Brunning and Price group for over 20 years. Brunning and Price has evolved from a small core of Cheshire based pubs to a national company under the ownership of The Restaurant Group. The pubs specialise in bringing together warm and inviting environments with great food and a wide range of drinks. Taylor’s Classics expertise in combining the restoration of antique furniture with new yet traditional chairs and tables has brought a timeless feel to the interior of each pub.

The White Horse in Beaconsfield has seen the next step in the evolution of a Brunning and Price pub. This is a town centre site that through its interior design by Spatialized of Wakefield introduced a garden theme to the tried, tested and successful restaurant and bar theme. Taylor’s Classics were asked to soften the interior by manufacturing bespoke sofas, bentwood and more contemporary chairs and a series of tables combining tiling and timber.

A typical feature of a Brunning and Price pub is the library area where there is a combination of antique and new chairs and tables.

As well as showing a huge range of antique and reclaimed furniture the Taylor’s Classics website also features architectural products including doors, window frames and wall panelling.

The eclectic mix of frames, stain colours, fabrics and leathers has been a constant theme of the pubs since the earliest days. Over the years Taylor’s Classics has built up a collection of furniture that meets the specific needs for each Brunning and Price site. Whether the furniture is manufactured to order in the workshops or refurbished from the stock over 3000 items of reclaimed furniture, each piece is made to order and to the exact requirements of each project.
